To Kevin, the ocean was something to look at from a distance, not up close and personal.
Kevin decided to go on the Disney World / Bahamas cruise, and he told the staff that “he was NOT going in the ocean, and no one could make him.” The day at the beach wasn’t going to be his favorite day, but they talked about it and decided that he could just go at sit on the beach. Kevin was okay with that.
Just to make sure that everyone knew he was serious, he didn’t even wear his swimsuit to the day at the beach. He WASN’T going in, so no need to dress for it. But, there is something about those waves… they keep calling you, even though you don’t WANT to go in…
Kevin can now add standing in the ocean to his list of things that makes him happy when he goes on vacation.
